The cohort is only coming back on friday, so all information has to be passed down via tel relay. And i think im not used to organising events already. I have been so blur! Keep missing out things here and there. Sorry guys if i've caused a lot of confusion. Ah. im confused too. Being bombarded with many many questions and i dont know how to answer them so i keep asking ms lee. Feel quite bad.
And my speech and prayer! I want to give up! Ms Jacob has given me some comments but i somehow cant find a way to edit it. Gosh. Cant wait for this to be over. Then i'll be freeeeeeeeee.
Saturday, November 14, 2009 10:54 PMBut i dont know what to do! I am in serious need of cable TV. Im so utterly bored. Its like suddenly having no aim in life. There are so many things to settle for grad night (which is just 1 week away), especially since we abandoned the project ever since our prelims, but i dont feel like doing any work. Argh, what am i to do?
ohoh but yesterday was fun. After the chem paper, we had a meeting so cleo, caryl and myself ended up together again and together with Kai Rou, we went to party! Believe it or not, Kai Rou was planning to go back to boarding after chem paper. Siao. But now that i think about it, maybe she wanted to go back to see her special someone. But im sure she had fun with us.
We chose to go to random places. Didnt want to bump into the hordes of sec fours who are out partying. So we went to Ikea, good idea right? No sec fours there whatsoever. We ordered so much food! Meatballs, chicken wings, cake... and ate like there was no tmr. And we talked and talked about everything under the sun. After that we toured the entire ikea and ended up sitting down on the sofa and chatting for nearly an hour. Felt like i was on display or something with random people coming over to touch the sofa and stuff.
Then we finally decided where to go next. National Library. Yes, we just cant stay away from books. Haiya, not really lah, just that reading will definitely help pass time. That Kai Rou actually borrowed chinese books... i dont think i ever succeeded in completing even one. Oh ya! Kai rou thought us a new chinese phrase. Liang tou ( two heads) bu dao (dont reach) an (island). Think it means something like Jack of all trades master of none. Then i was thinking, shouldnt it be yi tou bu dao liang an? It makes more sense right, and then we got all confused about which one is the right one, haha.
After that we went to the shophouses at middle road to look for mask for grad night. We managed to find some reasonable ones so yay. and finally we had dinner at bugis junction. A long day indeed.
Now im just looking forward to my holiday in Malaysia and Thailand. Parents bringing me to Malaysia. Been there many times but i dont mind going again. And my brother and sister in law are bringing my sis and i to thailand! Sounds fun right, siblings holiday. Cant wait. But before that, there is grad night to settle and JLPT. Hope i'll pass. I shouldnt have signed up for level 2. Wanted to do level 3 but hui ning said i should take level 2. i bumped into her while signing up, and followed her advice. Should have realised that she is from rgs and is super good at jap while im always struggling. But nevermind lah, try my best.
wow. super long post. k k darlings. i shall end my post. Have to wake up early tmr morning for childrens' liturgy! Cant wait to see the kids again!
End Of Prelims!
Wednesday, September 23, 2009 10:37 AMWent to east coast park with caryl and cleo yesterday to relax! We went cycling. super duper fun. Going to east coast park on a weekday is great! there is practically nobody there. The weather was perfect! Slightly sunny and very breezy! Caryl and I got sunburned after that. Our noses are red, like rudolf's. haha. Then we had coconuts at the hawker centre! Caryl kept saying that her coconut didnt taste like a coconut and didnt even finish half of it. And Cleo was complaining about how i didnt teach her my special method of scraping the coconut flesh off. (she was using her straw to dig out all the flesh). Then cleo had to leave cause she had tuition:( But caryl and i still wanted to play so we went to vivo! haha. she dragged me to the playground. there were many signs that said that the playground was only meant for children 12 and below. Caryl can pass as a 12 year old. but i certainly cannot so there were many people staring. Had fun anyway! haha.

Love my new blog skin! its nice right. Wen yi, abi and i spent 3 hours searching for the right one! we were spoilt for choice! haha. the IT pros helped me to change it, and i found all my old links and my tagboard that sharon lost. The two of them so thick skin. must add the 'i love wenyi and abi' at the about section. oh well. Since you guys helped me so much and i do love you, shall leave it for the time being. happy? im sure abi is. haha.
Ok, have taken my break, its time to gear up for the final lap in this race!

Wednesday, September 9, 2009 11:58 AMBoth my siblings are getting old! my sis is 21 and my brother is 29. My mum keeps asking me when she can finally relax and stop working. She seems, at times, to be in awe that she still has a 16 year old daughter to take care of. haha. and my dad says the same things too. He was casually saying, "alison, when can you finally provide for me?" then i said, "Still a long way to go." then he replied, " Dont worry, by the time you graduate, i will probably not be around already. " So terrible right! argh, wanted to smack him for saying that.
My mum is really blur. And sometimes its really funny. Going out with her shirt worn inside out.. looking for her spectacles when it is lying on her head...it is indeed funny. But sometimes it gets worrying. Yesterday, she came back with a plastic bag of buns. She placed the plastic bag on the dinning table, sat down, and had a sip of water. A minute later she asked, "eh? whats in this plastic bag? your dad bought food?" After that, she herself admitted that her head was going 'clapoo'. She is not that old actually, 57 only. Dont know why she is so blur. Must have overworked herself in the past years. Oh well, what can i do? Just treasure every minute with them now i guess.
Couldnt sleep last night, suddenly realised how close it is to the o-levels. will i do well? i really do not know.
